The Best Pizza Near Roseville
A local's honest guide to where to find pizza worth driving for.
Roseville has more pizza options than most cities its size. The chains are everywhere — you know the ones. Reliable but rarely memorable. So when you're tired of the same routine and want pizza that someone actually cared about making, here's the move.
Why Drive 18 Minutes to Lincoln?
Roseville to Lincoln is about 18 minutes up Sierra College Boulevard. Quick once you do it. And the difference between "frozen-dough-thawed-and-baked" pizza and pizza made from dough that was mixed and proofed that morning is real. Not subtle.
At Brick & Barrel we make our dough fresh every morning. Hand-stretch every pie. Fire it in our deck oven. That's the whole pitch — nothing fancy, just done right.
What to Order on Your First Visit
If you're driving up from Roseville for the first time, here's where to start:
- The Kitchen Sink — if you can't decide, this is the answer. Meat-lovers' pie done right, plus a few twists.
- Pizza of the Month — changes each month. Currently the El Jefe (taco pie with enchilada bean sauce). Worth ordering before it disappears.
- Mary Jane — our signature green pizza. Pesto base. Underrated by anyone who hasn't tried it yet.
When to Come
Friday and Saturday nights pack. Sundays on the patio are perfect — you can usually walk in. Thursday is trivia night which is its own thing entirely (more on that in a different post). For first-time Roseville drives, Wednesday or early-Friday is the move.
The Real Reason to Drive
Honestly? The pizza's great but so is the bar. House-brewed beer (we brew our own Lincoln Lager and Bottle Blonde on-site). Real craft cocktails — the Fuego-Rita pairs with anything spicy. Happy hour Monday through Friday from 2 to 5 has three price tiers and is unbeatable for Placer County.
Pull up the menu, call ahead if you're feeding a group, otherwise just come in.
